@vzex It’s not some much that we are looking for free, it’s just that we chose years ago to mod the default theme of presta and it worked well and looked great, so now we are modding the default theme of TB in the same way. Other than being responsive, it was still similar to the 1.4/1.5 theme we had originally. It’s more expensive than a bought theme really, but then it’s clearer to me who owns the code, and keeps us some brand consistency with our old design too I did note when making this choice that there is less flexibility in terms of sliders and menu’s etc though. A downside for sure.
@Innercode - is this something we can pay you guys to do for us over the next few months? Can you email me at annafjmorris [AT] gmail [DOT] com with some info
@CaitlynMSL Thank you so much for bringing up this topic. I use the Transformer theme, which I love, and only had the magnifying glass on my page. I finally decided to hunt down how to get the border around the search box. All I had to do was choose “no” for “simple style” in the QUICK SEARCH BLOCK MOD.
For 5-7 those files will be moved into the theme, so it is best to use the theme translations. All of those files are automatically moved to your theme when you edit translations, so if you edit the core ones, they will always be overwritten.
Just using the default theme with css changes. Do you think in the long term these will work with 30 bees? I am reluctant to make a change that my store will rely on that might stop working in a year or two
