No thats not true. I migrated several webshops from 1.5 to 1.6 and 1.7 with this module. The description even mentions it can migrate from 1.3.
@cdwebman you can try the module on a testshop. However when you ask Lesley to do it for you or cart2cart you dont have to waste time on it. Especially when you have a big store. I should recommend to first migrate to 1.6.1.20 and after that when everything works migrate to Thirtybees.

No both official modules are developed by mdekker/snowycat. I guess theyre hired by Mollie. I use the 3.1.0 version. I didnt look into this version for prestashop or thirtybees but i am pretty sure theyre both exact the same

But if there should be a problem i will contact Mollie. I dont think that will be needed, because in all those years i use mollie i never had any problem.

i work with version 3.1.0 downloaded from github/prestashop but i asume they are the same. For me it works fine, no trouble at all.

installed one of the favourite themes of prestashop/template monster: Eveprest
It works, however its a heavy theme which need some attention to get it quicker and smoother. But it worls as expected

no i didnt need him to fix. It works out of the box. Only for customizing some things. Thats also for templatin's Megashop (1.6 version) Thatone also works out of the box. I do have more themes, which i can test.

yes i do, www.awlgrip.nl is thirtybees 1.06 with zro theme

megashop is compatible, but the developer doesnt update the theme anymore for 1.6 prestashop so no new features will be added. he/she is focusing on 17 prestashop. I now use zro theme, also on 1.6: see www.awlgrip.nl this theme is also compatible with thirtybees. developer helps you also when installed on thirtybees. Is not officially supported, but he never rejected any support question.

What are you trying to do? This post also appears on PS forum, so i asume you are the poster.
The way youre writing is very aggresive and looks like youre trying to force to get a problem done for free. Maybe i am wrong, but asking for help is something else as demanding for help.

You can use the guide for prestashop 1.6 to upload a theme. Be aware that free themes often are not that free as told. Most time you have to buy the paid version if you want to change features. Also in free themes theres a lot of garbage who can give lots of problems.
The guide for uploading a theme can be found here: https://prestashop.aonetemplate.com/zro03/documentation/installation.html This is ofcourse the guide for a particular theme, so some information like configuration of modules is not for your theme but the first steps until regenerating the images is default for every theme. Normally you get a installation guide with every (paid) theme.

When i try to upload a theme in 1.06 i get the message: incorrect/bad configuration file.
It doesnt matter what theme i use. Also when i do the procedure by ftp (zip file). I also unzipped it and zipped it again. No luck.
I tried several themes, including warehouse 3.8.6 and 3.8.7
Any idea what i do wrong?

lightspeed is prima, maar qua kosten te vergelijken met shopify. Als je wat wil doen start het rond de 80 euro per maand excl. btw. Een goede managed vps hosting kost ook rond de 40 a 50 euro per maand. Cloudways is goedkoper, maar daar moet je meer energie in steken. Ik geef de voorkeur aan VPS, wat dus rond de 50 euro per maand kost, Ik vindt dat niet veel geld, een winkel huur je niet voor dat bedrag :)
Maar het staat of valt met de kennis die je hebt, of die je bereid bent om aan te leren. Je zal dus een hosting moeten hebben. Strato heeft dat zeker, al ben ik niet echt kapot van hun opzet. Kies liever een goede webhoster die Prestashop/Thirtybees kent: https://thirtybees.com/partners/hosting-partners/ Voor het opzetten van een testwebshop kun je gewoon een subdomein pakken, bv www.jouwdomein.nl/testwebshop

TB is net als Prestashop een open source pakket, als je alles zelf wil doen en je hebt geen of weinig technische kennis zal je best vaak tegen probleempjes aanlopen(vooral in het begin). Ben je bereid om betaalde hulp in te schakelen is TB veruit boven Prestashop de beste keuze. Veel aanpasmogelijkheden, maar daar hoort dus wel een beetje kennis bij. Als je je daar niet mee bezig wil houden zou ik je aanraden een kant en klaar pakket te nemen zoals bv shopify. Dat kost natuurlijk wel geld, maar je hebt er ook bijna geen omkijken naar.
Persoonlijk geef ik de voorkeur aan TB, puur gezien het feit dat het veel beter aan te passen is aan persoonlijke wensen. Gebruik je TB puur zoals het is met het basis thema zonder al te veel extra aanpassingen dan heb je ook aan TB een heel makkelijk product. Meestal gaan er probleempjes ontstaan als mensen zaken willen aanpassen die niet zomaar aangepast kunnen worden(wel technische kennis nodig maar niet hebben, en dan gaan uitproberen).
Ikzelf ben absoluut geen developer, of wat dan ook, maar door de jaren heen wel de nodige ervaring opgedaan waardoor ik redelijk weet wat ik wel en niet kan doen. Ik ben zeer tevreden met het resultaat. Ik draai een aantal webshops met ca. 700 producten en dat gaat heel goed zonder noemenswaardige problemen.
Ik zou je adviseren om gewoon een testwebshop op te zetten en test het. Dan leer je niet alleen, maar zie je ook wat de moeilijkheidsgraad is. Met wat leeswerk en het volgen van tutorials en wat hulp van het forum moet je volgens mij een heel stuk komen.

zet je php versie eens een tandje lager, bv 7.030 verder alle acties al gedaan? htaccess herschrijven, caches legen etc?

i understand your point but what if every product in your shop has a discount (because you want to be cheaper then the normal stores) Then your products get all this label and there will be no special offer anymore.
In my case: all my products are 10 to 25% cheaper then the normal prices, so people see this discount already and i dont want them to be flagged as a special offer. I do this only for the very special offers so customers recognize this in an easy way.
