Looking back we had edit pencils, delete, active & inactive on the front office pages as well. Just like the old Dot Net Nuke did for widows servers bitd.

Everything has always been crammed onto one page when moving around blocks and transplanting modules for the front & back office. Somewhere down the line can this be addressed? I would like to start a wish list on this one feature.

1) Please separate the back and front office modules & transplant onto at least two different pages. IE: One for each would be awesome. The ps or tb page is so long that stuff gets missed ten times before you even know it. I'm not ragging on the system we have I just want it to be better. I would even help if I could in some way that you could determine.

2) Also could a system like Xoops.org or it's sister ImpressCMS.org "Blocks & Modules Positions" system be worth a look? Here are both demos! When you log on click admin >>> blocks. Don't forget to click edit and you can see how they deal with placing a module on a one off pages or even whole categories. Heck you can even invent your own custom position and hang it in the theme.html. Now both systems also use smarty if that is of any consequence. I'm trying to think of other things as well.  

 

Anyway please take a look at these demos and understand how simple they are to use. Thanks Billy

Just to be complete I wanted to circle back with some more details. As I did not get any emails from last nights cron jobs. I just checked the Block layered on my categories page and did not see any changes from yesterday.

So I reset them based on @haylau post. Lets see if I get all three emails this morning at 10am.

I have the main logo sorted now. I gave up on the vertical megamenu after I figured out how to use it with that sorry video. I just unhooked it and used the stock thirty bees category menu. I'm not sitting there and adding every url to that thing. I like the auto features of the native thirty bees categories menu.

On to the next nightmare...

So I took my site live today from localhost aka wamp. I have cloned it over to another domain and have the website in maintenance mode. 

I started working on the "Block Layered Navigation Module v3.1.0 - by thirty bees". I am on a cPanel VPS and just wanted to make sure I'm setting this up properly. So do you just copy and paste the three URL's into Cron Jobs within cPanel and just add "wget" in front of the url?

I do have all three URL's inside the Block Layered module staggered by an hour within cPanel cron for every day at 12am, 1am & 2am

Is this going to work?

So anyway I told the owner of this website I'm working on that I didn't have any trust in the themeforests themes any longer because of the modules. So the owner of this website I'm working on bought the panda theme to hack up and use.

So I had some issues getting the 2 old themes to work in thirtybees. I needed to go back through how to use hooks and blocks. Still not there yet but it's becoming clearer. I just don't build as many websites anymore so I forget stupid stuff. I find myself re-teaching myself as always.

I have been with KH for 5 years and before that I used Servint. I just don't have the time for BS hosts and have always preferred top tier. So when I need a new host I end up on web hosting talk. My recommendation for KH comes from the info that was on WHT 5 years ago.

When getting problems solved in the KH support panel only take a couple of minutes. It usually says something like 2 minutes for the next support staff while in the waiting zone. So it's fast with very impressive support staff in the que every time.

[Non theme related hooks were ignored?]

I have a few presta 1.6 themes. This is what I get below when I upload and activate them. I'm not really sure where I need to start to fix these issues. I don't mind doing the work but can anyone point me in the right direction? I have googled these results below with the word thirty bees and prestashop. Nada so no rabbit hole to run down!

Maybe I'm just searching the wrong terms. Maybe "rewrite presta theme"? IDK..
