I thought you were saving it not opening it. You will have to open it with the comma. And then save it with the semi colon.

My .ods files need to be opened to work on them. :)

Then they need to be saved and converted to .csv for csv imports.

right now it is saved with a comma and you need it saved with a semi colon. I would just use the semi colon right now, because that is the default tb format. I had to use a | and a ~ instread of the ; and , because of some the content in the book csv fields.

I'm sorry, i just imported the combinations. I have no any image and product, so i can't show you much. I just opened the combinations tab in the BO, and saw, that combinations were imported. Actually, i didn't imported all of them because had to go off the office. I can do complete import again within 2 hours.

So, the process is following: 1. In the l.o. calc i open .ods and chose file->save as... , save dialog appears. I set the flag "edit filter settings" 2. In the filter settings dialog i chose a ^ sign as a field delimiter (just because it used rarely, so will avoid possible ambiguities like with commas, semicolons, quotes, et c.), and semicolon as a text delimiter. Also i set the flag "Quote all text cells" 3. After tis the impirt process is made as usual in the TB's BO.

I've figured out, that your file's column structure does not match with one required by TB's BO import tool

Then go to save as copy. ( I am assuming that openoffice is similar to libreoffice here. ) On the first popup box make sure "edit filter settings" is checked

Then on the second popup box make sure the ; is selected as the field separator.

Then try uploading the newly saved csv and let us know what happens :)

@daokakao I match the column headers before I do imports. With my usual spreadsheets I have one or two other special columns. Hopefully by the time you get back I’ll have good results to show you.

To open csv's:

To open the csv: select comma. Then go to save as copy - firstly there is no "save as" - I decided to add a word to save it as a newer file.

On the first popup box make sure “edit filter settings” is checked. Done

Then on the second popup box make sure the ; is selected as the field separator. Done

Went to CSV import to import it and the data is wrong. I reopened the file and the data is wrongly formatted there, too.

I tried again with the original .ods file with a comma. Clicked okay. Clicked "save as" csv and checked the "edit filter settings". Clicked Save. The export dialog box opens and I selected semicolon for the field delimiter. Text delimiter had the quote mark so I left it alone. Save cell content as shown is checked. Clicked okay.

My file looks normal until I go to import it. Then it looks like above.

@DaoKakao When this gets straightened out I'm going to change the order of the columns to closely match the csv importer columns and I'll put my extra columns more towards the end.
