I did find a module that claims to do this, but the reviews had numerous posts about it destroying the data in the source database - not sure why that would happen with a simple transfer - so I moved on, but that got me to thinking somebody must have done something similar that only READS from the source database... ie: bring data over from a production server to a development, beta, or clone server for testing / modifications with same or different Prestashop based DB versions.

I used cpanel & FileZilla in the video, but you can works similair with Plesk. What I show:

1. Clone your files
2. Clone your database
3. Change settings.inc.php
4. Make the migration

After investigating I noticed the 'problem' customers had split orders in the tb_orders table. i.e. two or more rows with the same order reference.

This means that there's a many to many relationship between tb_orders and tb_order_payment using tb_orders.reference and tb_order_payment.order_reference.

I'm not exactly sure under what circumstances split orders are created in TB or PS.

So is this a 'feature' of the database I've transitioned ( in which case I can live with it ) or does TB also create split orders under some circumstances? And if so will some totals also be wrong?

As far as I can see this only affect the Back office displays. 

I have been trying to migrate my prestashop 1.6.1.24 to the 30 bees using the psonesixmigrator-v2.1.1 Tool. I am using php 7.1 on my own dedicated server. When i configure the module all looks fine and the update starts. All checks passed. I have also deactivated non native modules and overrides and changed to the default template. It gets to the point where its says its upgrading files. It upgrades over 3/4 of them then it gets to around 4300 left and then the browser kicks out and it says "snap something went wrong" and the install fails. I have got to this point over and over again and had to restore from backup to try again and again. Very frustrating... I have increased all the post sizes and timeouts to max so i know it's not that. Is there anyone that has had this problem and can offer some advise? I am even willing to pay someone to get this done for me.

I'm trying to migrate PS 1.9.1.19 to Thirty Bees.

I've done and checked every step before run the migration.

Unfortunately it stops on "extraction" progress:

zip->extractTo(): unable to use /xxx/public_html/admin123/psonesixmigrator/latest as extract destination.

I've checked the Zip extension (never had a problem installing modules etc) and timeout.

I've also run a script to be sure every folders and file are 775 and files 644.

I've checked the "latest" folder and I see that 90% of files was extracted.

Can someone help me? From tomorrow our server will update to 7.3 and the site will be down forever.

So I'm trying a migration from my Prestashop installation to ThirtyBees and  I've set up a test site to try this on. This is running PHP 7.4.

I've got as far as installing TB 1.0.8 following the migration guidelines. On running the Core Updater to move the installation

on to TB 1.3 I get the 'You have local changes' message ( attached ). However there's nothing under the headings

'Changed Files', 'Missing Files', 'Extra Files' so I'm not sure which are the problem files.

Confession - my version of Prestashop 1.6.24 was created from the released version and modified to work under PHP 7.2 by manually incorporating the mods from GITHUB to make 1.6.24 PHP 7.2 compatible - https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop-1.6/pull/4

It looks like these mods were going to be incorporated into a 1.6.25 release which never happened.

Is this what's causing the Core Updater message?

Should I revert to a 'vanilla' 1.6.24 and do the migration again?

If I simply reinstated the changed files ( which I saved before updating ) would this be enough for TB Core Updater to work?

It seems cacart.pem file is outdated, it gives status "rejected" with the following error: 

cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired (see http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)

After updating the file from the provided URL it worked fine. The problem is that this error is not visible until you dump the results, and the migration process does not work.

This is for a online webstore that's been online for many years.

I turned PS_MODE_DEV to true and I get this:

After doing the migration with the latest thirty bees migration module, I did a refresh...

The Migration module updates to thirty bees 1.0.8, could it be that this version is not PHP 7.3 ready?

I am currently doing a Restore, and will try again, this time following the instructions specified below:

    - Uninstall the migration module, psonesixmigrator.
    - Install thirty bees’ update module, tbupdater.
    - Update all the modules in need of an update, one by one. Boring, but necessary.
    - Install Core Updater (coreupdater), thirty bees’ next generation updater.
    - Use Core Updater to update thirty bees further. Migration module updates to thirty bees 1.0.8 only, then Core Updater takes over.

... Fingers crossed.

EDIT #2

I performed a Restore from my server restore option and also restored the database created just before doing the migration.

Now, I am back to my previous Prestashop Backoffice 1.6.1.xx, everything works EXCEPT the modules tab, whenever I try to access the modules section on my backoffice, I get a "BLANK" page. Turn on Dev mode and no error is shown???

Did I just BREAK my 8 years old online shop permanently???

The main reason I wanted to migrate to TB is for the PHP 7.3-7.4 support because my Host is no longer offering older version of PHP and some of my modules stop to work properly after PHP version went up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just try to migrate fron Ps 1.6.1.26 (it's a community version with Php 7.4 support).
The migration worked fine, no error message.

In FO, the home page is displayed correctly.
But when I wanted to see a product page, I have the error messsage "500 Server error"

With Debug mode activated, the message is :

What is this error please ?

I thought I found somewhere that making sure the Caching type was File System in Advanced Parameters

I've exported all the products, customer blablabla from PS 1.6 into a new TB store, using Store Manager. 

All import process was fine, except images. They showed like regenerated on the software desktop, but nothing on the front website. So I decided to import all the product images from the pevious PS and try regenerate after that (of course I updadted the .htaccess and robots.txt). But now the error is this, and only a few images have been created (see attached image).

The thing is that the URL is not correct. It suposed to start at "/tb/img/p...": can you tell me where i can change this URL, to try again? Or maybe there is a better way...

i've attempted to migrate from PS 1.6.1.23 over to thirtybees but the database migration is stuck at 302 tabes.

See screenshot attached.

It's been like this for over an hour.

Any ideas what I can do to move on from this point?
