FIXED! By editing Germany into the Region Germany in Localization > Countries.

[Changing employee display name to first name]

Well, as the title says: I wanna change employee display names to firstname (family business).

In the blog as well, but that has a setting for name displays - which doesn't have firstname as an option.

Any idea what file I have to edit for that? Or do you know about a setting?

I am on the adventure of checking out the customer experience.

While I do have a few issues with the invoice system, I found it more disturbing that

My Testcustomer pays the shipping costs for Europe by default - instead of the lower shipping costs for Germany. And they're not able to choose a shipping method (I got two setup - pickup and postage). They do have a (fake) german delivery adress.

I only have set shipping costs for Europe and Germany. Does "Europe" overrule "Germany"?

 

Edit:

I just changed the adress to an existing one - and removed Europe from the delivery method settings - and now it tells me my adress can't currently be shipped to. >:O

[Front office block [module] headline [translation]?]

I am looking for the point where to translate the headline of the front office module "block featured products" and "block popular blog posts". I couldn't find the line in any of the translation pages. If "hardcoded", file location should suffice.

Does the Block Image Slider save images in the wrong dir or does it have the wrong baseimgurl set in the view script?

The main page displays only an icon of a camera - the placeholder img - instead of the pic I uploaded.

Checking the urls I get this:

I'm thinking about just linking the two dirs in the ubuntu OS? Any advise?

We also take custom orders - so I would love to have a custom order/contact form, with custom fields (like "colour" and "size"). Is there a way?
