My .ods files need to be opened to work on them. :) Then they need to be saved and converted to .csv for csv imports.

I really want and need the help but I have to take care of someone (my service dog) for a while. I'll be back soon. Thank you!

OK @DaoKakao thank you. @jnsgioia I have tried several things. Thank you. If I don't use the comma it is not formatted properly.

Should I still try the pipe symbol?

None of that looks the way it is on my computer. I do not have any quotes around anything but I will uncheck the "comma" which has been working for the past six months. Did not work.

@jnsgioia @DaoKakao Here are the results of importing the original csv for the same product today as back in July 2017. I included .csv and screenshot of product which shows that the correct and incorrect display of sizes and colors attributes TODAY, after uploading the attached .csv. @DaoKakao :) How could I be angry with my good friend? :) I have only finally felt comfortable with csv's one month ago. I found my original openoffice calc .ods file that I uploaded in July and made a copy to test it now, as @jnsgioia suggested. I'm trying to convert the .ods to .csv with field delimiter of semicolon and text delimiter of a comma.

I am wondering if it somehow saved with the wrong field delimiter when you changed the number. I was expecting to see a ; for the field delimiter and a , for the multivalue separator not a , for both. Also your file had quotes around the name and value entries which I don't use (the quotes), and are not in the sample file. If you are testing on your test site could you upload the original combination file as it was and see if it overwrites the product to show the incorrect information? If it does, then something was changed in the upload process since the file was made and maybe @mdekker could tell you how you need to change your csv file. I've been trying to find the file again.

@jnsgioia @DaoKakao I use openoffice calc I have tried so many different options now that I'm completely lost. No imports are working correctly. They all do not format properly when I get to the product import stage. I looked at your csv @jnsgioia. What separator do I open it with? I use openoffice calc

Hi, @zimmer-media I did and it seems a little confusing but thank you. color:select:0, size:select:1” column value write “baby blue:0,XL:1 I really have to wait for @Traumflug @mdekker and @lesley because there was a lot of work done on csv imports a couple of months ago and a lot of changes. (I'm not being stubborn. I'm overwhelmed.)

@zimmer-media XS:0,aqua:1 - for all aqua sizes. XS:0,baby blue:1 - for all of that color and so on?

How were you able to mark it solved? I have tried on my posts and the option is not there.
