Hello, my name is manfred, short: manne

i got an error while installation version 1.4

after step install/index.php?step=license

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known

 

I uploaded zip file  - php is 7.4 

unzip using SSH

Changed install folder and cache and config folder to 777

after error there is no /config/settings.inc.php  file in config folder, so i guess it is about the folder permissions are wrong on the server.

 

i could make settings.inc.php by hand with database information, but i don t know what have to be in the file also.

Thanks if somebody knows where i could search for the mistake.

Hello

the solution for me was

set allow_url_fopen   to  enable

--i hope, soon i will be sure--- 😉

but i found the solution if i try tb version 1.3, 1.3 gave me an error

1.4 did not give me an error tb site, only the

SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known

ciao , io per ovviare a questo problema , ho fatto l'installazione in locale e trasferito il tutto su server e non sono riuscito a capire come mai con softaculous va tutto bene e in manuale mi dava il solito tuo errore 

hello, to solve this problem, I did the installation locally and transferred everything to the server and I couldn't figure out why everything is fine with softaculous and in manual it gave me your usual error
