Installation problem

Question

Posted

Hi, Thirtybees newby here.

I'm having difficulty installing thirtybees. I've had a couple of attempts using VM-(Oracle VB) currently:
Ubuntu 22.04
PHP 8.1.2
MYSQL 8.0.35
TB 1.5.0

I've unzipped TB into /var/www/html

If I open 192.168.x.x

I get a blank white empty page (view source blank)

At 192.168.x.x/install

I know apache2 is working and php is working (phpinfo() OK)

Do I need to chmod some files or chown to www-data? Anything like that?

Happy to create another VM and start from scratch if that's preferable.

Also is there any up to date doco?

The doco here is old:  https://docs.thirtybees.com/installation/

says PHP 5.5 ~ PHP 7.1

But according to here: https://thirtybees.com/blog/thirty-bees-version-1-4-released/

PHP 8 is supported

So I'm assuming TB 1.5 should be OK with php 8.

Any guidance appreciated.

Thanks

BWestoz

Also, tb do not support mysql8. Try using v5.

ThirtyBees 1.5 and 1.6 (bleeding edge) support PHP 8.3 and MySQL 8.
