Allow PHP fopen

The general advise is to disable: Allow PHP fopen() , but TB1.5.1 running on PHP 8.2 says it should be enabled.

Should i enable it? Googling and Bing'ing says to use cURL instead, but TB is complaining and i don't like complaints!

Any help/advise would be much appreciated.

What makes you think that a visitor wishes to see all categories in one page?
max 6 to not overwhelm a visitor. and avoid empty spaces.

When I click on one product I get recommendations of other products which will take away the resolve of most visitors. People should concentrate on purchasing and purchasing alone. After that you can invite them to review that product.
