  1. @wakabayashi said in Bullets not showing on CMS pages: cms #center_column ol, cms #center_column ul { list-style: circle; } Thanks very much. I followed your advice and it works. Thank again.
  2. Hi Lesley, That was actually very helpful. I was concentrating on adding code rather than removing/modifying it. The problem was with the following code: ol, ul { list-style: none; Changing none to circle solved the problem. Sorry to have troubled you with this. Regards, Luke
  3. Hi, I am using a Prestashop 1.6 compatible theme and a small matter has been driving me daft. The bullets are not showing on the CMS pages. I have contacted the developer who asks me to insert the following code into the theme control panel: .cms-block ul{ list-style: square; } I have tried adding the code to the global.css and several other places. I notice that the TB community theme doesn't appear to have this code. What code should I add to which file for my bullets to display? Sorry if this is a really basic question but any help would be really appreciated. Regards, Luke
  4. Thanks very much to you both for responding. I will adjust the carrier weights as described. Thanks again.
  5. Hi, I have been building a shop with Thirty Bees. I love it and have most of it configured including: Weighing and measuring the products Configuring the shipping weights for the carrier Adding the tax and configuring the gateway However, I realised that there is nowhere to add the weight of the packaging. How do people usually do it? I thought I could add a bit to each product but that concerns me as I will have quite a few to change if it goes wrong. I also thought about understating the ranges for the carrier. Is there another way such as modifying the code so it adds a certain percentage to the total? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  6. @traumflug Thanks for your advice. I think I will stick to a monoshop and keep things simple. Thanks again.
  7. Hi All, Sorry if I am asking a basic question. I am currently building a shop that will sell one product - children's books. On the root, I have my categories such as baby books, toddler books etc. Perhaps in the future, I may want to sell something unrelated, for example shirts. I would like to have another shop using the same backend. I understand I can do this using multistore. If I understand it correctly, I can create one master shop on a domain that can be hidden for now with categories something like this: Home – books – children’s book – baby books I can then create my multistore, using children’s books as the root category. If I sell shirts, I just add a new category to the master: Home – shorts – men’s shirts Is this the way I should go about it so I cover all bases for the future? Is there another approach to launch one shop for children’s books without the URLs looking something like this: https://mydomain.com/books/childrens-books/baby-books/... Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Luke
  8. Just to confirm the Webkul Adyen payment module works great on 1.0.3 . Thanks.
  9. @jnsgioia Thank you so much, you have been more than helpful. I have a lot to think about.
  10. @mdekker Thanks so much for replying and your help. I will begin with the payment module. The Elasticsearch module looks impressive and very quick. I have built my own server so hosting it should not be a problem. Thanks for the suggestion. @jnsgioia Any help on how to go about cataloguing the books would be appreciated. I will be starting from scratch. To begin with, all of the books will be used. We don't plan to sell on the big venues to begin with as we are based in Malaysia. I guess it would be nice to have that functionality in the future. I am a bit new to e-commerce so trying to get my head around how to adapt Thirty Bees for books. I have changed the manufacturer to publisher and wondering whether to use tags for the author. I would appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thanks again. Regards, Luke
  11. Dear All, I am building a bookshop and hope to launch it in April. I started developing the cart using Prestashop 1.7 but gave up. After a bit of research, I have decided to bite the bullet and use Thirty Bees. It seems great. I am planning to purchase three Prestashop modules. Before doing so, I would like to check if anyone has any better options. I am based in Malaysia and plan to use Adyen as a payment gateway. The cheapest/easiest option is to buy this module: https://store.webkul.com/Prestashop-Adyen-Payment-Gateway.html I also have the job of cataloguing 35,000 books which isn't going to be easy. I plan on using this to help me: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/fast-mass-updates/8616-isbn-.html I will also purchase a theme. Before I buy these modules, may I ask if anyone: Has any reason to believe these modules won't work on TB Has any better solutions Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Luke
