  1. Is this the "install" folder? install-dev and its associated folders. Does my dev site have to be in the root folder or can I move it if it will provide a more secure environment?
  2. @jnsgioia - you knew THIS question was going to come! :) Once you have your tax rules set up you need to attach the rule to the products. I do this with my csv import. What is the name of the column on the CSV and what field does it need to be data-matched with when importing the csv in admin, please? Happy Thanksgiving! :)

  8. @lesley Can one of the moderators please check my account? I just came on after a few days and saw two chats from 3 days ago. I receive emails for chats, on and off, several times over the past several weeks. "Send an email if a new chat message arrives and I am not online" is checked.

  10. @dynambee I emailed Jonny a quick question about refunds but you and I both know Envat is not going to give refunds. At least that’s what I think. I don’t want a refund. I want continued support for that theme because I really like it.

  14. @jnsgioia that’s a relief to hear. I subscribe to Website Magazine and they are constantly discussing this and last time I read an article about it, it seemed like it went through. I still would like to know how you managed to create more than one tax rule, please.

  16. @lesley are you talking about products made by Jonny Li? The only refunds they’re referring to are from that developer.
  17. @x97wehner that might be too advanced for me. Are you in the USA and charging sales tax for the United States? If so, I’d really like to know how you did that. Thanks!
  18. @jnsgioia I thought everyone is required to charge sales tax for every single sale in the USA, however it seems as if this was held back for 2017, but may be in effect in 2018. I Googled and found out what “nexus” means. I have no idea how to create tax rules but I’ll look into it. Thanks for clarifying!

  20. @dynambee i’ll definitely do that. I have a habit of emailing code to myself in case I need it in the future.

I think it's a very good solution if your store is small. I took a quick look at it and I suppose it’s like other software. You use the trial and then you downgrade to free if you’re eligible, which I definitely am! Thank you.
  22. @dynambee I will try your solutions very soon. Thank you for them. From a merchant’s viewpoint, I wish that it was easier to do this and possibly keep it from being overwritten in the future.
