  1. I can't see where to change it but here is what it shows. Way below what you have! Server information Linux #12 SMP Wed Sep 28 11:31:36 EEST 2016 x86_64 Server software version Apache PHP version 7.0.16 Memory limit 768M Max execution time 120 I want to change this! Also on that page: CHECK YOUR CONFIGURATION Required parameters OK Optional parameters OK LIST OF CHANGED FILES - this may be because I changed hosts two months ago: Changed/missing files have been detected. Missing files (977) adminQy7e=WJ/ajax-tab.php adminQy7e=WJ/ajax.php adminQy7e=WJ/ajaxproductslist.php adminQy7e=WJ/backup.php adminQy7e=WJ/croncurrencyrates.php adminQy7e=WJ/displayImage.php adminQy7e=WJ/drawer.php adminQy7e=WJ/footer.inc.php adminQy7e=WJ/functions.php Do you have to upload images to your server before you can put them in messages here? I wanted to include the screenshot.
  2. @spidawebs Hi! I didn't disappear. I perfectly (afaik) formatted my product and combinations spreadsheet from all the instructions and screenshots you provided, for only one item. I've been trying for two days to upload my product csv but have been having the "500 - Internal Server Error" and have been in touch with my host who did this: "increased the maximum execution time and the PHP memory limit to the maximum value allowed to see if this makes any difference". It did not make any difference, so I contacted them again and gave them the screenshot of the errors. I also researched it on the PS Forums: 500 Internal Server Error on CSV Import https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/151212-500-internal-server-error-on-csv-import/page-2?hl=+500%20+internal%20+server%20+error The reply and fix for them was: "In Performance change cache option. There are two options. Don't cache every change in files." I did all the following and still am getting the 500 Internal Server Error: Template compilation is set to "recompile templates if the files have been updated". Turned off SMARTY cache. All CCC is set to NO. Bottom of Performance screen: Caching - use cache - I set it to NO. I turned Apache optimization off. Tried a different browser. No change. I'm posting this in the PS Forum in hopes they have an answer. As soon as I have success, I'll let you know. I appreciate your help very much!
  3. @spidawebs I understand. The topic name has been changed. Thank you for the help!
  4. Can I change the topic of this post? It has nothing to do with store commander.
  5. @spidawebs oh, I see. I was looking for exact matches. I also noticed that you have a blank or an empty field heading in the screenshot and I'm wondering how you can do that please?
  6. @spidawebs i understand but how can I match my fields if they're not in the combinations available field section in Admin? Thank you!
  7. @spidawebs I created a new csv with products and combinations info together. Everything went well until I tried to import and match up the combinations fields. These are the available fields in my admin: https://www.alwayspaws.com/images/available-fields-for-combinations-csv-import.jpg The combinations column headers are not available as shown here: https://www.alwayspaws.com/images/combinations-import-column-headers-not-there.jpg Separate question: Also, regarding the products import screenshot, you have "force all ID numbers" as yes. Do I need to do this? Thanks so much. (I'm sorry but I don't see where to add hyperlinks to my sentences). I'm using PS 1.6.1.11 now.
  8. @spidawebs I'm going to do that right now, after I fix the sizes to something normal. Thank you!
  9. @spidawebs Just to check, I am to manually enter XS (8);aqua and so on, for every size and color? BTW, I'm going to change that size attribute. It's too complicated.
  10. I see about the cells. Thanks. About copying and pasting seven to eleven colors and seven sizes in the same column, I'm a little confused. I copied and pasted everything already except the combinations values.
  11. I'm a natural comedian! :) I've been getting more help than five a day! I'm needy! LOL!
  12. Thank you. That looks great! I think I completely misunderstood something. I thought I did not have to type in all those combinations manually. I thought the .csv would create them automatically. Is this right or wrong? I had trouble incrementing the numbers with a dash in openoffice calc, but it works in MS Excel for Mac. One thing is going right!
  13. @spidawebs I'm so sorry. I really don't intend for this to be a lifelong project, but how will PS know which colors go with which tee-shirts? Should I just limit my specific products (like the tee shirts) to the colors all of them have and delete the colors they don't have in common? Also, do I put a separate combination name for the sizes and for the colors? Thank you!
  14. I know this is minor, but I don't want anyone to think I'm unappreciative of all your help. I can still only vote five times in one day.
  15. @spidawebs Thank you very much. I created a brand new spreadsheet with everything together. I misunderstood and thought you meant I should create two. Less work is always welcome! :) I'm on the job now. Thanks again. I'll post the outcome. Update. Got distracted by new posts and tried to vote for yours and I can't vote any more today. I voted 5 times. I'm sorry. I'll vote tomorrow. I did vote for another of your posts.
  16. @spidawebs I created three products via product.csv. Can I remove all the columns that are empty for less scrolling across the spreadsheet? I tried several times to figure out how to create the reference numbers for the combinations.csv. I'm using .ods until it's ready for upload. On your spreadsheet, reference numbers look easy (as 1 - 2 - 3) 15620-1, 15620-2, 15620-3 I used the product combination generator for one of the shirts to see what mine looks like and it was mind boggling: One color and one size: color - baby blue, size - XS (8) Each shirt, for example, comes in seven same sizes, but in varying amounts of colors from 4 to 11. I'm attaching two abbreviated spreadsheets and a screenshot. If you have time to look at them, I'd appreciate it. My [colors and sizes attributes](https://www.alwayspaws.com/combo-snafus/colors and sizes attributes and values.jpg). 014887462239023-dog-shirts-products-3-5-17.ods 014887462558113-dog-shirts-combinations-3-5-17.ods If this is too much, I understand. (And I'm doomed!)
  17. @Havouza I'm glad that works for you.
  18. @spidawebs The .ods file is absolutely perfect! Thank you so much.
  19. @Havouza said in Learning curve for Product Combinations with Store Commander?: @alwayspaws No I turned to xml instead and that works for now What software did you use for the xml format?
  20. @spidawebs said in Learning curve for Product Combinations with Store Commander?: 01488524146618New Product Import.csv Attached is an example of the csv file I use incase it is of use. Just open in Excel and edit. The columns in white are the fields I import using the products csv import, the ones in yellow I import using the combinations csv import. When importing the combination just made sure you use the ID field so the products are matched. @spidawebs - Your file is precisely what I've been hoping for! Although the file shows as .csv in your post, it downloads like this: 1488524135738-new-product-import.bin I downloaded it twice and once renamed it with an .xls file extension and once with .csv extension, but there's no highlighting and some data is moved to the wrong columns. I really want to use this file. What other format will open it, please? I'm on a Mac and use openoffice calc but I also have MS Office for Mac. Thank you very much!
  21. @spidawebs I will download your spreadsheet and try it out when I get back to the office. Thank you very much. It's good to know it works in PS 1.6. Products are my only concern right now. @Havouza have you tried to import a product with @spidawebs spreadsheet? This may help @mdekker figure out which importer is better.
  22. Michael, I'm sorry about that. @crosscut01 Thanks for clarifying this. I hoped to do a mass .csv import of a huge amount of products but I find it's too complicated because I don't want to manually create product references codes with all the colors and sizes, which is what the PS combinations spreadsheet example looks like to me, so I'm going to add products with combinations and images one at a time. Since SC and PS admin both seem to have similar techniques, I'll just use PS combinations generator. It's easy enough and I already have all the data in spreadsheet form and all my images are already on the server. I'll just have to copy and paste. I'm not at all happy about this situation, but it is what it is. One last comment is that I did not create my website from the open source PrestaShop. I bought the template and additional services from TemplateMonster
  23. Do you suggest that we not buy any add-ons for now, either?
  24. I have no experience with this but did a search and found this module. Maybe it can help you? XML feeds Module https://addons.prestashop.com/en/data-import-export/2381-xml-feeds.html
  25. @nickon Big money! :)
