It might only be a version compatibility check blocking the installation, especially if the module was originally made for Prestashop 1.7. Sometimes adjusting the supported version values in the module files is enough to make it work with TB, although there can still be compatibility issues later depending on API changes.
It would definitely help the community if someone experienced with module development could test it. Open-source communities like this are great for shared learning and technical education around ecommerce platforms.
