Favicon Metas - Error 403

Hello all,

 

I am new to this forum althouogh I have skated around it for a while now.

I am in the process of setting up a shop and while trying to update the favicon metas am greeted with a 403 error (Access forbidden/denied) from this page - > /administration/index.php?controller=AdminThemes&token='Token Number Here'.

Process.

- Click to upload favicon & phone icon.

- Click to upload source Favicon (PNG)

- Click to download a new template. (which populates the table)

- Message flashes up confirming 'successfully refreshed the favicon template do not forget to click save below'.

- on clicking save I get a 403 error and can't proceed.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Likely you are setting mod_security off on your server. Contact your host and ask them to whitelist the rule that you are tripping.

Many thanks for the fast response Lesley, I'll give it a shot and let you know how I get on. :)

I can confirm that it was tripping out due to mod_security.

I am unsure exactly what was tripping it out, but I was able to completely disable mod_security, makes the changes and re-enable it and it works a charm.
