How to add block new products to home page?

Good day,

Does any one know how to add block new products to home page?

I try to add it though position-hook to the home tab or home tab content, but after hook, in home page I could not see any new products.

I do have some new products.

Any one knows why?

was the shop cache and your browser cache cleared?

did you make any other changes in the template or anything else?

hooks ... and "header" hook are ok?

Hi Color-ant,

Thank you for your picture, I see you hook both hometab and hometab content together. Now I do the same and it's working now.

Before I only hook one of them, so it doesn't show anything.
