How to get sale products to show in the specials block

TB has a native module called block specials that should show the products that has lowered prices. But nothing happens if I lower price on products, they dont show up. I I set the block to always show even if empty, it always show up, but always empty. We have never used it before, so perhaps we miss something. Any hints?

What do you mean? What will be the difference? The correct lower price is shown on the product but the Block Specisl is empty

1 st cache to empty is performance > empty cache upper right hand corner. Cpanel or plesk hosting empty nginx cache. Latest the browser cache. All store parts.

Again Why.? I know how to empty cache, we have used TB since 1.0

Just to check, emptied cache. dont run nginx so no need. But ofc no difference
