With a 1.4.0 I get this error, if I upgrade my php version. (The thirty bees works on 7.3 but crashes with all versions of 8.x):

I have contacted the host Infomaniak but they are sending me back to thirtybees.

what would be the changes to be made?

That's server configuration issue - maybe php8 does not have pdo_mysql driver enabled.

Contact your hosting provider again.
