Webmail and domain

I saw on Godaddy a domain for sale, it's a former webmail service, popular a few years ago. Does it mean i would buy the domain only or it would come with the service email they used to offer?

That depends what it was popular for and the ideas you look to develop with it. If that domain is tainted you better start new.

Hard to say - it seems to have been running fine and then stopped offering free webmail service.... EDIT
