Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Hi! I use the new native Paypal module but it don't work properly. I dont use the community theme but this must be a TB problem. After choosing paypal I get a bland page, see screenshot. This is the same if I use the Paypal standard from PS
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 If I use the Paypal standard from PS I get a message that I have no right to make this API Call
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 If I enable the Paypal Express checkout that button comes up. If I press it it starts to login to Paypal but that page just disappear again
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 More info In order to provide the best checkout experience, all profiles have to be loaded and available. Unfortunately, some profiles are missing: Website Payments Standard: Website Payments Plus: Express Checkout:
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 The above show up when you set the module in Live mode. In sandbox in works all the way.
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 I cant get more then one I think. And I can only set one pair for sure
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 You must be wrong. There is only one set for the Rest Api
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 Have bin on the paypal developer page. Cant get live credentials somehow. Anyone know how to do it. The Live button does not work
0 Havouza Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 OK now the buttons work and I have got the correct Credentials
0 Havouza Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 I would say just the text need to be changed. Just so people understand that both set of credentials is needed. I dont know if it would be possible to have a form where both sets are added and when you switch to Go Live the "sharp ones are used", otherwise the sandbox ones are used
0 alwayspaws Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I didn't have a problem and wrote the tutorial step by step as I went through each. I stated that you have to save all the credentials. Once I get through other problems, I will look at the tutorial again and update it as needed unless someone else does it before I do.
0 Havouza Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 If you install it and then try to configure it you can get the impression that if you have live credentials and then change to sandbox mode it will go to sandbox mode. But that is not true. It just stops working. That is what I meant with change the text on the config page. Or perhaps make it possible to add both sets of credentials at once
0 alwayspaws Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I created both sets of credentials at once, otherwise I would've had to go through it a second time and create another section of the tutorial. Is there anyway you can start fresh with another site you have and try the tutorial again?
0 Havouza Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 You misunderstand. What I mean is to save both sets and the configuration page. Then you only have to switch the live mode on or off when needed
0 alwayspaws Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Please see the below forum post. I wish I could help further but I need to get products on my site and can't get them on until the double slash in the URL is fixed. https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/92/tutorial-on-setting-up-the-paypal-module-paypal-v4-0-0-by-thirty-bees
0 Havouza Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 Again it has nothing to do with the tutorial as I have said in the other post. End of discussion
