We have realized that using multistore is a nightmare so instead we will use 2 single shops. To make it as easy as possible to setup I have cloned the first shop and installed it under a second domain. But because the url settings also is cloned the new adress directly send the user to the first shop. So my question is where is the url stored. I have looked in all config files without luck so it must be in the db somewhere Any hint? SOLVED. Found in the db Anders

Hi! Experimenting with the multistore feature. I think I have most under control but the most basic is confusing. We will use it with a new domain, no subdomain no subfolder The domain is registered and works and is pointed to my VPS. A new virtual server is created The new url is added in the new shop But what I dont understand is what document Root the new virtual server should have. When created it get its own and testing the domain it ofc show the content in the new document root I have read 10 different tutorials but they give no solution. They all say the same thing and no explanation Anyone out there who has done this before and can give an advice please Anders

Our shop is very straight forward. Selling hardware like fork lifts containers etc. One shipper two payment gateways. And I have now installed the test version and found some problems. I will mail datakick and see what he say. The first problem is that one of the payment gateways create its own checkout form and it dont bother about the installed chex it seems. The other payment gateway use chex but I cant set it as default even if I have changed position on them So we have to see Anders

Why do you recommend an opc that you dont like and dont use?

What is it you are missing? We have one shipper and 2 different payment gateways. One of them create a new checkout form and I read that that is supported

My question was if it is possible to have different categories active in the "mothershop" and the "child". When I read tutorials its clear that the child can have limited categories from the mother, but can these categories be disabled from the mother? Otherwise its no use. However we thought about having two separate shops also but the workload to move 1200 products with images were not tempting. the products is no problem but the images is not as simple as take an sqldump

It seems that it is possible. But what is not clear is if we can show different categories. Its clear that we can choose to only show some categories in the new shop but the whole idea is to not show this categories in the main shop. Is this possible

Hi! We have a shop with about 2500 products. The number of categories has grown overtime and we think it would be better to have them split in 2 different shops. Is this possible with the multishop feature? There is almost no documentation to read so hope for advice

Hi! We have one carrier. Max Price to use this carrier is 1000000. But This comes up in Checkout. Is there more places where a limit can be set that I have forgotten. Model validation failed. Order.TotalPriceIncludingTax, 'Total Price Including Tax' must be less than or equal to '100000'.

None of the two exist in DisplayPaymentEU

Unfortunately that does not help. The wrong one still come up.

I wanted to activate a payment gateway we used before but have had deactivated for a while waiting for a better deal. Now we have it but this is what happens when I try to place and order Screenshot 1 & 2 is the same but different parts with errorhandling activated. Screen 3 is how it looks without errorhandling. Text say no payment gateways installed It should also be opc but..... Any hints please? TIA Anders
