Turning on or off "friendly URL" throws keyword errors

I get the following errors when I either turn off or on "friendly URL": 2 errors Keyword "{selected_filters}" required for route "layered_rule" (rule: "") Keyword "{rewrite}" required for route "layered_rule" (rule: "")

Make sure that Route to category which has the "selected_filter" attribute for the "Layered Navigation" (blocklayered) module looks like {rewrite}{/:selected_filters} for all languages

I don't understand, sorry. Where do I check that?

Additional information: I didn't have the blocklayered module installed, but now I do. Now I only get the error when I turn it off, not when I turn it on.
