Multi-Store Question

1st) I'm New to Thirty Bees - Like it so far 2nd) existing store is all HTML with html cart 3rd) Therefore, I am unfamiliar with "PS"

I want to convert existing store to TB - doing well in this so far Considering opening 2nd store for alternate product line

I keep hearing about multi-store - Can someone, in lame terms, explain this to me - Do I install on same server / domain, how do they merge, what are the benefits, what are the downfalls?

I don't need TECHNICAL details yet - just some basics please, and Thank You.

It is an option in the software, you can create multiple stores from the back office of one store.

Preferences > General > Enable multistore on the bottom somewhere
