atolodas Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Removes language indicator (language iso code) from all urls related to default language in the shop. On the subject of SEO, I would like it to be: domain.com/product -> (default language) domain.com/en/product How this make i know, but maybe add this to core function? How about this?
lunika Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I'm also interested in this. @atolodas can you post your solution to remove the language indicator from url's related to the default language? Thanks! Bart
Traumflug Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 How this make i know, but maybe add this to core function? Sounds like a good idea. How about this? How to get this into official thirty bees? Well, fork the Github project, bring required code changes into this and make a pull request against branch 1.1.x.
MockoB Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 @lunika go to languages and choose your default language, then disable all others.
lunika Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 @MockoB Hi @MockoB Thanks for the advice, but this is not the solution when you want to have also other languages then the default one. The main language is already indexed (SEO) without the language parameter. With multiple languages the default language will also be in the URL. Sure you can create a rewrite rule, but I would prefer the solution proposed by the topic starter.
MockoB Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I get it now, I didn't understod it is for multi language site.
