Adik Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Hi everyone. I have a question about compatibility Ultimate SEO Booster and TB. This is a helpful SEO addition, unfortunately at the moment a white screen when trying to install.
lesley Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 From what I understand it will not work and a special version is going to have to be made. The issue is because of the friendly urls the module uses is pretty much the same that thirty bees uses, so they clash since they are not needed in the module. I sent the thread over to @Nemo to explain more.
Nemo Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Correct, It can't work out of the box with TB as the rewrite system I was using clashes against this new one. The base version should work, but the ultimate will need features removed. As for the white screen anyway, make sure you enable debug mode, we would like to know more about the error
roband7 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Which features, if any, from ultimate are not already implemented in TB? I'm askiing because we purchased ultimate from you some time ago, and we´re now moving over to TB.
Nemo Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Uh actually the things @mdekker mentioned should be in TB already (apart form the canonical and editor), am I mistaken? A feature it doesn't have is, for example. the alt editor for images
Adik Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 @Nemo said in SEO Booster Ultimate: As for the white screen anyway, make sure you enable debug mode, we would like to know more about the error Here is more details about error: Fatal error: Access level to Link::getLangLink() must be public (as in class LinkCore) in /var/www/tb_test/public_html/override/classes/Link.php on line 0 Could you help how to fix this? Remove the language ISO code is great feature in ultimate version.
Nemo Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Thanks for sticking to it :D You can just reach the file mentioned in the error, and change the type of the function to public, so it reads like public function getLangLink Let me know if you still have trouble
Adik Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 @Nemo - I tried to change yesterday, here is more details after this: Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: Link::$category_disable_rewrite in /var/www/tb_test/public_html/override/classes/Link.php on line 86
Nemo Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 I guess just try adding static $categorydisablerewrite to the class
Adik Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 @Nemo, @mdekker - many thanks, it works perfect!
Adik Posted June 20, 2017 Author Posted June 20, 2017 @Nemo in dev mode I have a lots of warnings, please take a look:
Nemo Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Add that parameter like static $categorydisablerewrite; Right before the method, it should be somewhere in the link override but it seems it's not
Adik Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Ok, I added to the Link.php file, but still there are a lot of warnings
Adik Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Hi Michael, Yes, the update to 1.0.3. is done. I've made some fixes, which I've written above and everything works fine. If you want it I can check 1.0.3 and SEO Booster Ultimate on fresh install. Many thanks for your work on the thirtybees development!! :) Check our shop, we love miniature fanless computers, we will add new models soon: https://minipc.pl/en/
Baarssen Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 @Nemo Is it possible to modify the module for thirtybees so also merchants without coding experience can use your module in thirtybees?
Nemo Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Hm, I will see what I can do, whether it's a TB switch to turn off rewriting or a "light" version of it :)
Baarssen Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 i like the TB switch, but thats because i like switches ?
alwayspaws Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 I like switches, too. Just hope we’re talking about the same thing. ?
