Just had my first order though my website 🙂 and it's not live yet either so haven't gotten round to this bit yet..

Anyway how do you delete a order status as there is only a edit button.I know I can just edit them to what I want but there are loads I'll never use

I searched google for prestashop and they seem to have a delete button under edit

Delete an Order?  OR you found an Order Status you don't like so it must go?

I suspect it the later..

PS 1.6 Manual: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Statuses

Order Status' are hard coded which is why it's an edit.  Inside edit there is hide from customers?  What status is it you don't need just curious?

PS if you got a Order its Live congrats...

PS the ones that can be deleted have check boxes.  Then at the bottom Bulk option delete selected.

Thanks .. I redirected her to my new site as my zencart checkout had major issues lol ...Was a good order to so relieved I picked up the phone .. Have also done a redirect to my new website now as it is almost completed, as I have lost quite a few orders

These are the ones I have no need for

Awaiting check payment                               /Remote payment accepted

Awaiting Cash On Delivery validation            / Awaiting PayPal payment

Delivered                                                    /  Awaiting bank wire payment

On backorder (paid)                                    / On backorder (not paid)

Yeah well good on the order...  Yeah unless they have a checkbox at the beginning on the Order Status page you can't delete them. You could hide them and make sure the send email is unchecked.

Hi .. Thank you never saw that tick box. Am happy to do that. Although maybe we should be allowed to in future updates 🙂
