Hi Guys

Im wondering if anyone is using a module that does this

 

I have maybe 200 products  with many variations  I would like to be able to set different thresholds for each product and be notified when a product gets low of even better still click a button on Monday mornings that generates a list of products I either need to order in or make in our warehouse

I know there is a global feature but some of my products come from China some made in house so i need to carefully set thresholds based on time to replace based on previous sales plus x percent 

 

How to people currently manage their stock  is there a module for this?

You can use my DataKick module. It is designed to help with exactly these kind of things. You could:

1) create a custom field on your product (or combinations) named 'Threshold', and then assign different thresholds (in days) for every product/combination. Alternatively, you could create such field on Suppliers, Manufactures, Categories, etc... what makes sense

2) Create list of products with quantities below the threshold

3) Optionally, you can create scheduled task that will daily send you email with exported list of products to order (as csv)
