Module upload give 500 Server Error

Hi!
I try to upload a new module to the shop but get directly a server error 500.
it is the first module I have uploaded since we upgraded the server from Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04.
Can this be a permission problem? What folder does the module zip file end up in?

Any thoughts?

Is it tb error page, or web generic server error page?

If it's tb error page, then enable debug mode, ale post here the root cause.

If it's the server error page, look into server's error log.

you don't have installer or enabled zip php extension
