ISO code added to url after migration

Question

Posted

I have just done a test migration of my main website to thirty bees and all seems fine apart from the language iso code has been added to all urls as follows:

www.domain.com/en/product name

whereas in prestashop the url was:

www.domain.com/product name

English is the only language I have enabled so is there a way to keep my urls the same as they were before?

+1 to this since I am having the same issue.

My store is french only and I now have the "fr" iso code in all my urls..

Previously the code would not show if there was only 1 language available.

No, there is no such option. It must be inbuilt into thirty bees but this is not great if everyone's url's are going to change when they migrate.

This looks like a bug. There's definitely different behaviour than in ps1.6 .

In tb - the language prefix is present if there are multiple languages in store, even if only one of them is enabled in ps - language prefix is not preset if there are multiple languages in shop, but only one is enabled

It is indeed a bug. It´s a regression in TB 1.0.2 caused by the change to classes/Language.php function countActiveLanguages() in commit ID 5b225bb on the 22´nd of June.

I reported it as https://github.com/thirtybees/thirtybees/issues/324

When bugs like this are fixed, do we just download the updated file from github and FTP it to our server, or do we have to wait for the next version to be released?
