The description field is invalid. (ERROR)

Every time i go to make a product or category or edit one thats already made when i press save or safe and stay the error The description field is invalid. pops up. i started with the template that has products filled in it, it was not doing this at first i started a new blank template and its having this same issue is there naything i can do to fix it? sorry im new at this.

the only way i can save is if i erase the space it places for me, but if i put text in the description field and go to edit and save after ive already saved i have to erase the text i entered into the description field and erase the space it enters for me and reenter my text each time and its super annoying some one please assist! i cant find any posts on this.

Are you over the set character limit for desc field?

Try pressing the "source code" button after the text has been rejected and look for any illegal characters incl html. In some rare cases modules might try to put illegal text in the field.
