Module to add gratuity (or tip) for certain product

Hi

I am helping a restaurant to add ecom to sell seasonal meals for delivery. Is there a module that will allow the customer to add the gratuity (tip/pourboire) to the order , or products ?

Never seen an online shop offering/asking for a tip. Nevertheless, product customizations could do the trick. One would add a number of predefined tips (e.g. $1, $2, $5, $10) as a product customization, along with the respective price impact.

Another way would be to make such a tip a separate product, then list them as recommended products.

Thanks for the answer and yes I agree it is unusual , but as restaurants get more and more in the take-out and/or delivery, I believe you will see it more and more.

Personally, I would just build it into the price.

I think a new product called "gratuity" (which has no tax) will likely be the way to go.
