[SOLVED] Error during Db connection test

As i writed in title, i'm facing problem during installation. When i'm at database settings, i insert correct data, but when test connection to database i receive the message Impossibile convertire i dati del database in utf-8 (DbPDO). So i'm blocked at this point. My db is MySQL, i'm attaching an image with the current configuration of server. The platform will be installed in a shared hosting environment. Thank you for your reply, and suggestion but the shop is on shared hosting. I need to ask to hosting manager if is possible to upgrade mysql version.

Looking at the mysql version history, that version was phased out before 2008, which is 9 years ago or 100 years in internet years. I would consider finding a new host that keeps software updated. You will run into security and compatibility issues if you do not.

Thank for asking this question, I also faced the same type of error during connection database. I think always after updating software like browser, server etc we also have to check their supportable software version also. Google Chrome Customer Support
