Ah okay, thanks @roband7 How long is TB coded before it will clear cache? So changing htaccess for one month clear cache would not work the way TB is coded? Header set Cache-Control “max-age=2628000, public” When I installed the giftcard module to test I quickly added a test image, then when I wanted to change it to a real image I wanted to use I just could not get rid of it even after deleting it in cpanel. Refresh/reload did nothing. The only thing that worked was to clear browsing data in chrome. Safari and firefox showed correct image.

Using giftcard 3 module from PS but the translation won't save when I change the wording. Would this be a TB issue or the module is not compatible? If it's the module is there a TB gift certificate option in the future? ;) This one seems to be working well except for the translation and if you change the card image it changes product text back to module default text so it has to be edited again. Unless I'm still having caching issues!

Thanks @moy2010 that didn't work for me command + R for mac :) I'm more worried about someone buying an item with an older image expecting the older image item :( Wanted to force THEM to see the newest version without having to refresh themselves I don't shop websites by refreshing to see newest version, so maybe this isn't really an issue.

Ugh, spent way too much time wondering why images and changes were not showing up in my chrome browser on a mac when I had all the TB performance settings set to no cache. Even hit the performance clear cache button as well! Chrome was the culprit! Had to clear browsing data! Is there a bit of code that can be added to TB to force chrome or all browsers for that matter to load the most current page version? I want shoppers to get the most recent updates not something they cached previously that may be out of date.

Searching for a fix for the PrestaShop plain text email password issue! :( Always got frustrated with PS problems and lost motivation several times over the years since I already had a working non PS site. Seems I was searching more for PS fixes or how to remove all the distracting adverts in BO than actually getting it live. Things have changed! Thanks TB crew! PS Plus as a beekeeper I like the name ? Thanks @DavidP which core file did you edit? I tried a work around found on stackoverflow I was on the right track adding zones just didn't know where to go from there. For US I added five zones based off of regional rate pricing, still gets pricey going across country! This seems to work I used US zones/zone 1, zone 2 instead of NSW! Go to Localization->Zones Created new different Zones according to State. eg. Zone name = "NSW" Go to Localization->States Choose state and change it's new zone. eg. "New South Wales" now changed into "NSW" zone. Go to Shipping->Carriers Click on "Edit" on shipping method. Click on "Shipping Locations and Costs" Now change shipping cost by each zone which has now related states. Until I'm ready to buy modules I think this will work for now.

Thanks @lesley I was tempted to buy that module a while back except for the fact you CAN'T pay/print postage from it, only print then go to PO to pay. Etsy, eBay you can pay right within the stores. USPS picks up my packages I don't want to deal with the Post Office counter just to pay when I can do that having my morning coffee from home or 11:30 at night! Also, will it grow with TB...long gone is the two lbs delivered in two days for $2.00 through USPS!!! It was easy to figure things back then! I use a lot of regional rate boxes but once they go halfway across country the price gets high so I don't want to eat that or overcharge my region. Limit order size would work but who wants to do that :) Just really hesitant about buying themes and modules that won't work down the line so looking for work arounds I can control for now. If I have to spend extra just to go live with no guarantee they will work next month or year why not just pay a monthly fee for a web based store. It's a bit frustrating. Hate hitting walls, just want to get it live! :)

Ack, okay :( Started setting up Central, SCentral, Mtn, West, etc zones to figure it out but then came to a dead end.

Is this possible? I'd like to add a handling charge for states that postage is higher than my flat rate shipping charge. Example: All states west of Missisippi add 4.00 to the flat rate shipping. I see the handling charge option under shipping/preferences and additional fees under products/shipping but it looks like it's applies to all states. Maybe add the feature under localization/states/ add additional fee option? I'm trying to avoid using the uspscarrier module that didn't seem to work.

I like this idea too. Does the admin/preferences/ lifetime of cookie setting show abandoned cart items if set long enough?

Nice! @alwayspaws the only downside if you are web only is be prepared for people contacting you to come "visit your store" or the "can they save shipping" by picking up types.

Speaking of theme changes, if anyone needs a simple text banner to replace the top default TB one using 1170 x65 size at banner creator worked for me. I'm sure there are other options out there. Only downfall I couldn't get it to work using character & or %OFF to make say a quick 20% OFF sale banner. It only produced the UTF-8 Hex characters with mac/chrome. Example: 20% OFF doesn't translate:

@lesley to pay someone to create a similar theme or teach yourself to make the theme changes. Just installed sublime text need to figure out which addons work best to show in browser theme changes. But in the mean time I'm learning to like the default theme since I'd rather get my site moved to TB up and running.
