@digitalsymbiosis said in Pick product attribute from list of images?:
And I've heard some people have browsers configured to block all JS. Not sure if the shop would even work in that case and I doubt it's not many but still something to consider.
JS disabled, at least on the default community theme, will make the FO side quite unusable. Just tested. So nothing to worry about people who block all JS, as they won't be able to properly use the site regardless.

Try to think bigger. What if you have multiple colors and the customer wants to buy many of them? https://www.presto-changeo.com/prestashop-attribute-modules/27-87-prestashop-attribute-grid-module.html#/25-prestashopversion-allversions Does this module help? :)

@idnovate One thing I forgot. I am sure Thirtybees will be very happy to list your company here after your modules are officially supporting & fully compatible with TB: https://thirtybees.com/partners/compatible-modules/
-
@idnovate Thank you for the useful information. I think it will be very beneficial for your company to test all your modules compatibility and fix if necessary and post them on Thirtybees store as @piet suggested. This way, the increasing number of merchants using Thirtybees (not all shifting from PS) will know that your modules are fully compatible already and ready for immediate installation and it will be an additional source of income for your company, with very minimal efforts (just test and slightly revise your code if needed, before you offer it on TB store). That's a total win-win situation for you. Thirtybees users naturally look for TB modules in the TB store (and BO), usually not on Prestashop store and usually don't read every forum post, so adding your support here is highly recommended. :)
Thanks again

@datakick said in Thirty Bees GDPR module:
The git repository is not always a valid module. Quite often some build script is required to compile module zip file from source code
Is there anything that can be done to fix this? ie. make the git repository modules (and core) valid?

@dosbiner said in Warehouse 3.8.7 install error on tb 1.0.6 "Bad configuration file":
@doclucas ups you got it first ?

I have posted the solution to this here: https://forum.thirtybees.com/post/20309
It has already been fixed in the core and will be working fine on the next release.

thanks

@dosbiner works in TB?

@Traumflug (a moderator and developer of TB) earlier gently responded to your other (multistore issue) thread and recommended that you migrate to TB. Rest assured TB code base is much better than PS 1.6 (and so is the community & management) and you will get much more positive response here if and when you have any issue with it than when keeping on posting issues with a competing shopping cart, even if TB is based on that cart.

Nobody suggested you are bad and we are all sad when frustrated, yet not all do the same things when sad. :) Anyhow, you should have those permissions by now I guess, so copying & pasting your issue and solution to that would be helpful. Probably not gonna take more than a few moments. ;)

By the way, if you want to have a valid index.html response, simply add this to your .htaccess file:
RewriteRule ^index.html$ /index.php [R,L]
right below: ```Images
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.YOUR-DOMAIN.com$` ```

good job, man! It was really annoying. Just mentioned it to Lesley 2 days ago, while he was fighting a forum hack. Thank you both

I don't see any index.html on my server. Adding it to the URL also results in 404, but direct access without it is working fine. Your website without the index.html loads perfectly fine: http://culturecocktails.com/ You will see the same issue on your subfolder /dev/ if you try http://culturecocktails.com/dev/index.html

@ikram_zamzam said in shipping option not more that 3 ?:
seriously, I dont what my problem is with the bugs.... seem like when I fresh install 30bees, I can use many courier, but once I have first order, when I add another courier option, its doesnot appear in the cart.... whats a bugs !!!!
So you mean that you can now have more than 3 carriers listed? For example, if you have 10 carriers listed, after you receive the first order, you can not add more than those 10, right?
-
@spacewalkingninja Not only that you have hijacked a thread and continuing to do so (something that could get you banned on some less friendly forums). You have also defeated the main purpose of posting a solution to your problem, because most users won't be able to find it when it's buried here. So congratulations for finding the solution, maybe now it's time to listen to @dosbiner advice.

@movieseals If the module worked properly on previous 1.0.x of TB and stopped working on a newer 1.0.x version, then this must not happen as the 1.0.x are supposed to keep PS 1.6 legacy backward compatibility and improve it, definitely not break it. A lot of hard work and efforts were put by Michael Dekker into achieving this critical goal. If it no longer works for you, please report the full details here. When it was working and when it stopped, errors if appear and any information that you can share that can help TB developers correct this. This symptom may point to a much wider problem - breaking compatibility with one module is quite likely breaking compatibility with other modules that TB users invested their hard earned money in and expect them to work when they use TB 1.0.x and/or when they migrate from PS. Also, creating a github bug report with as many technical details as possible may help both you and others. And if you are able to get support from the modules' developer/s who can point out where the issue is, then that information can also be very helpful to correct the core's incompatibility issue.
-
What is the question? If it's compatible with TB?
-
Yeah, I am also all for adding as many built in features to TB, as long as none of them breaks backward compatibility with PS 1.6. Legacy compatibility is critical for this project. That said, getting a TB website to look exactly the same as prozis is possible even now, without any touch in the core code. It's that good. :)

You can check out TB elasticsearch in action here: https://rackmetro.com/
To be honest, I thought elastic search was something different. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. :)

@wakabayashi said in prozis.com I think is a great example:
Sure it is. But I don't like the idea, that every module includes it's own technique. :)
Imagine you include this one to your module. Another coder adds another editor to his newsletter module. That is in my opinion not a nice situation for the merchants.
Maybe I don't understand this argument so well, but what exactly do you propose?
-
ok, noted, still an advanced module that does all those things can be made for TB (paid or free), the current core code is good enough to run such a module - that's my point.
-
lol, it was an example, bro
-
That's what modules are for. ;) And there are plenty of such advanced CMS modules for PS 1.6 already. Here is one example: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/page-customization/19835-advanced-cms-contenmaker-for-landing-pages.html Which brings me to my original point - these things can be done on TB. :)
