0 vincentdenkspel Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 @tomik i encounter exactly the same thing. Wondering if they are spamming specifically TB installations
0 Generaal Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Thanks Michael, I have installed this module on my TB test site, but not on the PS site. When my TB site has ready to go live, I hope this will help to prevent some spam.
0 Generaal Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Tomik, I have installed the Google, the TB module help you with this case, nice work!
0 wakabayashi Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 We had the same problems some days ago. You just need to install the offical captcha module: https://github.com/thirtybees/nocaptcharecaptcha/releases It worked like a charm for us...
0 Tomik Posted February 20, 2018 Author Posted February 20, 2018 Yess got captcha on now :) lets hope it works

Wondering if they are spamming specifically TB installations No I dont think so. I read it recently in the PS Forum too. I guess, they either attack the PS contact form or they just search for random forms, to submit data. I am not a spamer, so I don't know their ways in detail :D But I am quite sure, that TB is not the direct intendend target.
0 Glenn Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Same here. I installed Catchpa in PS few days ago and after that, I received a message that the limit of 200 sent emails was reached...
0 wakabayashi Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 @Glenn Why PS? :S Also what kind of limit is this? :S
0 Glenn Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 :-) Still PS, for now... :-D The limit was sent from mail server directadmin. When 200 emails are sent it will notify you and prevent sending any more emails for that day.
0 Tomik Posted February 20, 2018 Author Posted February 20, 2018 i did get some spam pointing out i have a prestashop installation Hi there ! We have observed that you have a succesful Prestashop e-commerce store.

0 Generaal Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 When they are in your email system, the email will go out. I have installed the whole bunch to prevent, but nothing will work on the moment.
0 Adik Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Has anyone encountered a similar error on the contact page?
0 Adik Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Yes, captcha protection works properly on the registration page.
0 wakabayashi Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Hm I have no idea then. I only use it at the contact page and it works fine.
0 Adik Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Ok fixed. I had a custom class name in the contact-form.tpl file. BTW. For editing files I recommend the Sublime Text editor with Sublimerge 3 module. You will quickly find differences in files.
0 Generaal Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I have on my site, the free module installed. you can visit the site: https://www.block-disposable-email.com/cms/ 200 credits are free every mounth. 01519216818108medcontrolemailfree.zip
0 Generaal Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Hello TB folks, even the above module don't prevent the email stream from mail@ru.
0 Tomik Posted February 22, 2018 Author Posted February 22, 2018 Well i got emails from the contact form and the captcha module fixed that.
0 Generaal Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 On my webshop, I have even the captcha working for the contact form, but they are in, before I have installed the captcha module.
0 Glenn Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 @Generaal: It seems I use other version than you do. In my case the russian messages did stop, but a day after my email server seems hacked. I had to change passwords to make that stop. Since than (with the catchpa module) no more russian spam sent form the contact form. my version: https://prnt.sc/ii6ici
0 Generaal Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Hello Glenn, I will try your suggestion, to change some settings on my server. I have added the mail@ru to the SpamAssassin Mail Filter on the black list, but that did't them stop. Thanks for you suggestion.
