[solved ] After upgrade to 1.0.4: how to get latest module version?

Question

Posted

I still have problems to understand how to maintain TB - at least after doing a manual upgrade to RC 1.0.4.

I followed the tut of https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/1404/upgrade-to-latest-source/14 and noticed that the bankwire module has already version 2.0.6 on Git. In my installation there runs still 2.0.5.

This is just an example but is there no auto update anymore? Do I really have to check wheather there are no versions for the modules I run under the RC 1.0.4 Thirtybees?

What you see on github is (usually) not current version of module. It is source code for upcoming version - release candidate. Look into Releases tab to see released version.

You can, if you wish, download github repository, and build new version of module using newest code. (sometimes build is not necesseary, but only if repository itself is a valid tb module)

Thank you again.

I did not know that. I think I should be more relaxed with this and just not change a running system until there is a RC or stable update.
