Adding images

Hi All

Been adding products to my new installation and I often get this message Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused showing up after a while and I have to log back in again.. Is this just a time out message

Also while I am posting. I am finding the more images I add the slower they seem to upload and often they will fail and I'll have to do them again

@AndyC Please post last 100 lines of your error log right after it happens. Please also post mysql query results of 1) SHOW GLOBAL STATUS LIKE '%connect%'; 2) SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES LIKE '%connect%';

Hi .. Yes I can do no problem Could you tell me where to find these I don't know where these are yet. I've checked error logs in ftp but they all 1 line long so it can't be there

probably this could also be due to the php settings or the server and its settings may not meet the basic requirements

It seems to have gone away for now as I have edited almost 100 products with no issues..I think it may have been down to a slow internet connection
