Braintree Payment Module

Hi Does anyone here use Braintree mod..I've tried the free 1 and that doesn't work for me . There is a paid version which I will be happy to buy but don't want to if it doesn't work. Or Is there any other payment module that works so that the customer doesn't leave your site.
