Product Names

Hi

Can I ask what is the correct way to change product names so I don't loose any SEO efforts I have already done.. At the moment I have simple headings and I want to make them have more information if possible. For example a title may say "Blue Cup" I am thinking of saying "Blue Glass Cup From UK" or even just "Blue Glass Cup" So they know it's made of glass and it's a cup from the UK.

But do I have to redirect products and get them changed in google etc etc

As long as you keep 'Friendly URL' the same you can rename your product name to whatever you want, it should not have any negative SEO impact

Thanks. I just needed to check first as changing from Zencart to Tb has killed off sales to almost nothing. So trying to think of ways to improve it
