what version of Prestashop is Bees based around  obviously 1.6   but hit a little snag with a POS module  that worked on Bees  but not on 1.6.0.14  is it loosly branched around 1.6.1?  Its more curiosity than anything technical

If I recall, it's based on 1.6.0.5...

Strange that a POS module works perfectly on Bees  and destroyed my 1.6.0.14 site

It was forked from the 1.6.1 branch, 1.6.1.12 to be exact.

That goes a way towards explaining why  a module that works flawlessly on Bees screwed up on 1.6.0.14
