0 spidawebs
@Havouza I regularly have to import files which take longer than 5 minutes. This setting seems to work fine for me. It took me ages to find a value where it wouldn't time out.
0 Havouza
OK. I import an image file from the supplier directly to the webserver three times a week. The file is around 1Gb and take max 25 second
0 spidawebs
@Havouza Wow, that's quick. My product import files are usually only about 300KB but they take ages to import if there are lots of products and combinations. I also needed that setting for the Amazon module we use as it wouldn't work previously until I changed to these settings.
0 Havouza
If I had to first download them to my local computer and then upload them to the webserver it would take ages with my 768 kb upload but this way it is lightning fast
0 alwayspaws
I had trouble with the timeout because I was trying to import images in my product.csv.

Just open in Excel and edit. The columns in white are the fields I import using the products csv import, the ones in yellow I import using the combinations csv import. When importing the combination just made sure you use the ID field so the products are matched. @spidawebs anyway you could reattach your .csv example file? The forum won't allow me access to it.
