CSV Import feature: How to CSV import update weight and dimensions of combination products without adding required fields to the CSV?

Is there a way to only update the impact on weight and impact on dimensions of combination products without adding the required fields of Attribute (Name:Type:Position)*
and Value (Value:Position)* to the CSV?

Or, as a workaround, can I export all combinations so they already have the required fields? Because adding the required fields manually is equally if not more labour intensive than adding the weight and dimensions manually.

Try using chatgpt to build you a python script that manipulates your csv and adds the weights based on your request.

You'll have to be descriptive in your request and try couple of times until you achieve the proper result but in the end it will make you the script. 

You'll have to install python and after that run single file in order to output your corrected csv that you can import in thirty bees.

But this does not address the problem of the required fields, if I understand you correctly? But I could try to make those elements not required. I would rather not mess around with the core if not necessary, though.

I'm not sure I follow you but how would you attach the impact on a row if this row does not specify the combination?

Because each combination has a unique reference ID that can be used. Or are we misunderstanding each other?

The current combinations import mechanism lacks knowledge of those ids in the database.
