Raymond Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Hello I installed TB 1.6 on WAMP server latst version, php 8.3. All went smooth, updated the shop to php8.3, core updater gives all green. Despite all seems going fine the front homepage is broken. Usually adjusting SEO & URL and cache and other settings in the Preferences > Performance does fix the broken home page, but in this case nothing seems to fix it. Firefox's console tells that few things from Niara theme are not served, marked with error 500: https://mywebsitetest/themes/niara/cache/v_7_d2a42b80695f266cf2b93bfbb96e7926.js https://mywebsitetest/themes/niara/js/vendor/picturefill.min.js https://mywebsitetest/themes/niara/js/vendor/picturefill-mutation.min.js https://mywebsitetest/themes/niara/cache/v_7_518de6d04ac488f097e5b78f0d6facb7_all.css What could cause this? Where should I look at to solve this problem? Thank you in advance for any help.
wakabayashi Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Are the files on your server in the folder? I would surely try deleting all caches. But the fact that /themes/niara/js/vendor/picturefill.min.js is not found, sounds like the file is missing. Edited 16 hours ago by wakabayashi
the.rampage.rado Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Did you by any chance play with Performance->Media servers and forgot to turn them off (remove the records on each row and save)?
Raymond Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Hello, thank you for the hints I checked it before writing the message, yes the files are there on my hard disk, I checked again to be 100% sure. No, I did not play with media servers. I got this results out of the box, just after installation and first update with core updater (but I tested with a second pristine instance and the page appears broken since start, without any changes whatsoever). I wonder why the PC won't serve those JS files, I am unable to understand, my best guess is that this problem is not due to thirtybees but to wampserver and/or windows 10/11 I checked the same also using a win 10 pro and wampserver virtualbox, I get the same kind of problem, same files not served... That at least tells that the problem is the same in similar environments. I guess I should make a virtualbox of an actual linux server for local tests, but would be nice to be able to test using wamp too, much more practical and fast...
