    community testers

Totally correct.  You all (this project) need testers.

    There is no such team

My exact point.  See the thing is Development Teams are great.  Markus, Petr, Lesley are all great.  They are the Development Team.  They Create things. They are not Testers they are Creators.

The Project needs Testers.  A team specifically adept at testing.  Ones that create Test plans and process.  Can test the System like Users would.

You don't want just the community to test.  We each only care about our business' and its process so if it works we are all good. Like you see reported in this thread.

devs can't test this all by themself

Totally correct.  This is why you have Testing teams.  You want a group just like Development to stand alongside them so they can verify what was created works as designed.

Yes Users can always test and they will test.  That is worst case scenario.  Just like Development you want controlled Testing.  There is no criticizing from me don't take it that way, please.  I am simply pointing out you all (the Leaders) need to find and create this team within the Project.  Just to be clear you don't have to do anything I suggest.  I mean you all no harm only success.

because we are in quarantine with slow querys

Sounds like you mean you site is slow? or was on prestashop? Slowness is most likely related to system resources not being adequate based of overall use of the site. Could be many things would need more info around what you currently have related to RAM, CPU, OS.

You might look at if you think its database related only

    mean from shop to shop

Ok so I understood your question to be you have a Prestashop shop and you want to migrate everything to a Thirty bees shop?  Yes or No?

If yes I sent you the links above to a free migrator.

Maybe you went back and read it since you liked it.  I am sort of confused.  If you are looking for it to be a exact one to one I doubt it will be.  I hope you are setting up a test shop and planning it all out.  Not just converting a live shop to live shop.  Anyway it's a great community here so welcome to TB's. Are you from US?

Well, I don't have a clue what your home country is, but just for the record: AEUC (abbreviation for the module advancedeucompliance) is the only way for shop systems like PrestaShop or thirty bees, that are not legally compliant by default, to comply with European law. Without such a module you cannot run TB in European countries, not in France, not in Austria, not in the Netherlands or in my homeland Germany.

Nope, you got me wrong. Do whatever you think you should. what I wanted to say was just that the focus for current developments should be on issues not yet solved at all.

Oh ok. I am from US.

  5. Not sure what AEUC is.  Normally I post issues to Github.  it where The Dev team told me to post them.  I ussally post because i dont wnat to forget and they need to know.

Babysteps, please. Let them do it one by one.

Not sure I follow you. Are you asking me to not post issues?  Because they might be overwhelmed or some reason?

refund thing has been an issue since PrestaShop 1.5. As far as I know the official PayPal module never worked properly when trying to refund

Occam. I sort of found the same thing.  I cant find any definite answer.  I suspect refunding doesn't work.  Which is a bummer.  I wanted to check with everyone before post an issue on GitHub

  7. Hey toplakd

I am using.  Is this what you have?  I am on TB 1.1.0

    Payments and Gateways

PayPal v5.4.2 - by thirty bees

Accepts payments by credit cards (CB, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Aurore, Cofinoga, 4 stars) with PayPal.

Sounds like you are on a older version?

Well I was going to go with servercow's hosted mailcow but the migration didn't end up happening. Last weekend (planned time) they had some issues connecting to the server that were my fault. I rectified that so the migration could happen either last Sunday or this weekend but despite sending a few emails asking for an update I have heard nothing at all back from them.

Considering that much of the reason for not hosting my own email is to have support from someone else in case things go wrong the lack of response from servercow has been very concerning. I've therefore abandoned the idea of going with servercow and will instead be migrating to OpenSRS. There is no push email but I can live with that if it means having stability & support at a reasonable price. I wanted to support servercow with my business (open source etc) but I can't risk the lack of support.

I just signed up with OpenSRS and made the $95 deposit (it gets added as a credit to your account) and am now starting the migration. I should have most of my domains migrated over in the next few days and can then nuke the VULTR instance that contains my current mailcow server. Will be sorry to see it go.

How is the Opensrs email going?

No, transformer is not compatible with TB.

    @Raymond @Factor

I cannot confirm this. As well as you can make Transformer (if fully adapted to PHP 7) run smoothly with Prestashop 1.5.6x and 1.6.1x (both either with PHP 5.6, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 [only PS 1.5.6]), you can use it perfectly with TB 1.08, and even with 1.1.0. But the latter needs some minor CSS improvements both in product view, list views and checkout.

As I pointed out in my first post The creator of the theme states its not fully compatible.  That is good enough for me..

    Like @colorful-ant said as well.

  10. So do you have a separate email for departments like sales@, support@

You add that email into the talk.to setup on their side.  So when someone fills out the form it goes to that email.

There's no system generation of passwords

This is the main issue.  If you create an account manually the system should generate a working password and send it to the customer OR generate a link to send to them to create their password.  All other billing systems do this.  It should not be left to the Shop person to create one.  Reset should be treated the same way if the customer call for a password reset they should be directed to the link online.
