@mdekker I think is was said in the articles. You must be awake when you read them. ;-)
  2. I am probably older than most of you. My first computer was a pet 123. Operation system cpm. It was before Bill Gates bought DOS and then created Windows. My first PC was a HP with 8 Hz clockspeed in the CPU. It had turbo so 16Hz was possible. No disk but 2 floppy disks. It had 1 Mb memory and the price was about 4000 USD which were a LOT of money

Do you know if it work as I think, that I can set a payment receiver per product? Like 10% to me and 90 to the vendor?

    Split Payments

Hi all tb fans! I am interested in split payments, in the meaning that customer pay, and the payment is then split automatically between the shop owner and the vendor. Paypal kalled it Adaptive Payments but it seems that this is now very restricted and will probably be deprecated. The Braintree Marketplace is no option in Europe. Anyone know of another solution?

12 years ago I and my wife started our first web shop using OSC. What a nightmare. If you wanted a new feature you could be almost sure it broke five others. Then PS came along and it was a relief. Compared to others it was really good. It is the last few years all has got astray. In my opinion, money has become more important than functionality. It's a pity, I am sure it was not planned from the beginning. I just hope that TB stays on the path they are on. They do a great job. Let's hope they will be a bigger team, but not bigger than it can be controlled and keep that path

You are right. Look at so many that came out of Oscommerce
  18. That would be useful!
  19. @Traumflug Would it be usable in this scenario? I create a standard "tb in a box", back it up, and restore it in another domain. Simsalabim, working
  20. Its a pity that the connector according to the developers not will work with TB and they are not interested to make it work. But I doubt they have even tested

  24. So my ~5000 products 26 Mb db sextoy site will not need much RAM...
  25. There are many subjects in this General discussion part that trigger and old layman's curiosity, so also this discussion. I found a site said to rank the ten best Elasticsearch hosts. When reading on the Elastic search homepage and in this thread that a minimum of 8 Gb ram is needed. But these hosts offer plans from 0.5 Gb ram and 5 Gb storage. Another 1 Gb ram and 20 Gb storage. 8 Gb ram is about 160 € per month. So how to calculate what you need. Some of the hosts say that RAM should range from a 1:20 dataset size for low search volume to 1:1 for high search volume. I assume that a shop can be in the low range. Now the layman shows. What is a dataset in this context?
