Not critical but not very professional
This text is on the PAYPAL config page. Regarding TLS support
If the module was unable to verify that TLS v1.2 is supported, Stripe will automatically be disabled. Make sure you see a (green) confirmation message underneath and you will be good to go.
There must be some programming errors in the Paypal module.
In checkout. I have two PayPal buttons. The one for Paypal Standard and the one for Paypal Express checkout. They both go to the same Paypal page which in my opinion is wrong. But what is a bigger problem is that the Express button works without ticking the ToS box which also must be wrong. The Paypal Plus I can't test because it is not supported in my country
Unfortunately. I can't test or use another Paypal module, that support is taken away.
Today someone noticed an error that I have not been aware of. The top banner where sitemap Currency and login is places is "frozen". Works without a problem in Chrome. Most likely this is a theme problem because it works when I change the theme to the community one. I have written the developer. We will see if they are interested in TB
I have now second time resinstalled a backup this time 48 hours old. I will find out if I have installed something during that period that could cause this. Because now it WORKS
@mdekker
When I do the change I get
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'false' (T_STRING) in /var/www/vhosts/beautyandpleasure.co.uk/httpdocs/classes/Customer.php on line 685
This is my snippet
if (!$result) {
result false;
}
One uses wrote me and said that the payment module does not work so I tested to make an order today morning. And that is true. When choosing Paypal as payment method I only get a blank page. Choosing Express Paypal checkout the Paypal login comes up for 1 second then close
This is really critical. If I cant get it to work, then a change to PS is only solution.
No but the module can be buggy. I tried to upload categories with preset id. It just dont work so I gave up. That module is known to be buggy and a addon developer said it is so.
