  1. You need to take the id from the parent and use it in the menu
  2. Can you please do exactly as I say. Go to Back Office Go to Catalog/Categories in the menu Now you will se your parent categories and their ID
  3. The id on the csv is probably not the same as in the shop
  4. It will not help. The categories is correct in the system, you just refuse to understand when I explain what you should do
  5. Ofc it is different. Go in the BO/Catalog/Categories. Each parent category has an ID to the left. Use that Id when you create each top category The rest you see on the form
  6. you have put in wrong category id when you created the first one
  7. Then you have made a mistake when creating the first parent
  8. Has nothing to do with eachother. The top menu must be configured. You managed one category, do the same with the rest
  9. What is the meaning with studio quality pics when 90 % of the computers cant show them anyway
  10. Your TB site show one parent category and its subs. You have probably not configured more in the menu.
  11. @spidawebs I am sure it works as it should now.
  12. You have to add every parent tree in the menu, then they will show up.
  13. I see it also. Home you should not see. You should see dog lovers jewlery and the other parents should be top levels as they are. If you use home, there will be only one category on the menu, and all others will be subs
  14. My csv for cat import look like this. But not tested in TB only in PS
  15. When I upload categories in PS I leave the Cell where it say Home as parent empty but thats me
  16. NONO. The Root is the root and if they are set to one there will be many roots like for a multishop setup
  17. I have 7 parents under Home but 134 categories in all with the subs. I have 3 levels as most
  18. @alwayspaws Home is id 2
  19. As long as the old is better than the new. If you did not take anything from PS the TD would be very skinny....
  20. @spidawebs I agree. I took the old one from PS. Simple but works OK.
  21. I can't do that. We work with drop shippers and get the images in zip files that I download and unzip in one folder with a PHP script every 3rd day with cron. Then I use XML to create or update the products and it takes the pictures from that folder.
  22. One thing that has got me very close to change platform is PS image handling. From the second you add a product, manually or by import, the images disappear in a mysterious web of folders and changed names. Impossible to find again. We have many categories with clothes where the product has many images. If someone is missing for some reason it is impossible to find out which. I can only pray that this is one of the developments that TB will do to go back to a more simple system. I can't see one reason for the one that is today
  23. Its Prestashop Importer - import product from csv, xls, xlsx. in the addon shop. developer buy-addons
  24. I have given up the csv upload and use a module I bought for PS. can also import excel which is easier to handle in my opinion.
