Which Amazon module? The free one by Patworx multimedia is up and running on both my sites and, except for putting the Amazon Pay address in the manufacturers address list, works fine for both login and amazon pay.

@mdekker The stripe module was a minor problem I was having with PS 1.7... I was very happy to find 30bz!

I was using MDekker's stripe module on my PS 1.7 site (which I was having some issues with) and saw a reference to TB on the PS forum when he said he wouldn't be supporting the module there anymore so I went looking for it.

Well I tried it again. When I logged in before I logged in using PayPal (same paypal account) and it did not remember the cart. This time I logged in directly using email and password and this time it remembered the cart.

That's interesting. I tried it with my android phone and my laptop and it didn't remember the cart even though I was logged in on both devices.

It won't remember carts across devices because it uses cookies on whichever device you are using. If you save the item to a wishlist on your phone it will remember it when you login with your desktop though.

@alwayspaws I use libreoffice and save as csv. I use | for delimiter and ~ for multiple separator for categories, products and combinations and it works.

I updated it again after your fix. I got the green box but it did not have the line "1 file upgrade applied". It remembered the keys for the default store but not store 2. Both stores needed to be toggled to live. I inputted the test keys and toggled live in store one - success. I inputted all keys and toggled live in store 2 - success. So everything is working now.

I updated the stripe module when the notice came in the back office. After updating the api key fields were blank. I reentered the api keys and toggled to the live mode. I got an error message that one or more of the api keys were invalid. I rolled the api keys in stripe, reentered them and got the same message. So I restored the previous stripe module version and now things appear to be working again. I know the old version works as I had a stripe payment earlier today which completed without a hitch.

@alwayspaws In the upload steps did you check that your short description column was under the summary header? This is a screen shot from my upload this morning:

@Nemo I have it switched on but it activates the normal search not the quick search with its advanced capabilities. It is on StarGeezerStuff.com/store not LJsBooks.com.

What program are you using to store your information on your computer and is it exporting the short description to the csv file correctly?

I have activated search in the blocktopmenu, but I would rather have the quick search block there. What is the best way to do that?

So should I change the Type and Collation or will that mess up things worse?

I have noted this before, but have just had the time to explore it in some detail. The Amazon Payment module in guest checkout saves the address to manufacturers. If you go into the order and edit the shipping address there is a 0 in the email field. If you put the customer's email address in the field and save the address an address is created in the proper place in Addresses. I checked the database and all the Amazon tables have a Type: MyISAM and Collation: latin1swedishci. The rest of the tables have Type: InnoDB and Collation: utf8mb4unicodeci. Should I change the Amazon tables Type and/or Collation?

The update to PayPal has fixed the login problem there. Thank you very much. I tested it on both sites in my multistore.

@alwayspaws That is what I used. Every time I change our address in their system they send me a new reader.

I just tested it again. PayPal is still returning a 404 error on login. I have disabled login. Amazon created two accounts one as a customer another as a guest and added the address as a manufacturers address not as a customer address.

@alwayspaws This is how I have it set up: Order status for executed orders: do we select this after we get an order? Otherwise, what would I choose? Are customers automatically emailed? Amazon Payments - Authorized When/How will payments be captured? I have “directly after authorization”. that is what I have too Order status to capture payment? I have “Amazon Pay authorized”. yes Login in Popup-Window - yes or no? yes Do you use the “URL AND CONFIGURATION INFO”? yes From their docs, do you use the below settings? IPN SETTINGS yes, otherwise you will have to manually sync with Amazon Hope that helps...:)

@alwayspaws I use the login and pay. I asked several people who do a lot of buying online and they said they would like the Amazon login capability on more sites. I use During checkout/before completing order. That way the order will not complete if their card on Amazon is not good and they can fix it without bothering you with a declined card. I have Template Bootstrap set to yes. I am using a customization of the 30bz community default theme.

Does anyone use the affiliate program? If so do you have any suggestions or tips?

@alwayspaws If you click on edit next to the product in the back office in the product pane on the left hand side is a tab for shipping. Click on it and down near the bottom are two boxes labeled available carriers you can select the carriers you want and move them to the box on the right hand side and any you do not select will be disabled.

Ok, this is wierd. I ran a test in the first 30bz site, doing the exact same thing on Amazon as I did on the second site and the order was placed without a problem, the account was created and there were no errors. It is a multistore 30bz so the files are almost identical.
