Hmm. A Prestashop developer using Wordpress/Woocommerce for his own shop. :headscratch:

In such situations one typically uses what one already knows. He undoubtly knows PS/30bz already, so Woocommerce is apparently waaaay easier to set up. And that should change, IMHO.

One of the goals he listed was to release updates for thirty bees! After he sets everything straight, he'll probably do something different but for now, he has to collect all his customers purchase info. I'm glad I'm not him! :)

I'm not talking about "him". I talk about thirty bees. Apparently thirty bees is too hard to use. Too complicated. Too unreliable. Whatever made "him" to choose another solution.

@Traumflug from what I saw its only an informative site, not eCommerce. I can't find any good reason to start a new informative site with TB and not with Wordpress (even if you are TB expert). I guess he have the shopping cart (WooCommerce) because it came with the theme they installed.

well if you only have 2 products then thirtybees is a bit overpowered i guess.

Good point. Then a future goal could be to shape all this power into making it a no-brainer. Like people buying a smartphone with the processing capabilities of a supercomputer 20 years back just to make phone calls.

It's a business information & promotion website that happens to have an eCommerce store attached that sells 2 products. WP + WooCommerce is the perfect solution for that situation and is exactly what that combination does best. Trying to use 30bz or PS would be jamming a large square peg into a smaller round hole.
