Tomik Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 @fay_php and like always already paying customers don't receive anything ;)
fay_php Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 @tomik Well you know, new offers are always for the new customers. :innocent:
alwayspaws Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 @fay_php said in 20% OFF For 6 Months on Cloudways Managed Cloud Hosting For Thirty Bees: @tomik Well you know, new offers are always for the new customers. :innocent: And this is why I am downgrading to a lower, cheaper hosting plan. It just doesn't feel right that loyal customers should not be rewarded in some way. Just my opinion!
lesley Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 @fay_php When will cloudways support the latest version of thirty bees?
fay_php Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 @alwayspaws Loyal customers are rewarded with better support and new features. As everyone knows that recently Cloudways have launched CloudwaysCDN which is just $1 per month; I mean, these are the best rewards that current customers receive after some time.
fay_php Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 @lesley You can manually upgrade to the latest version, there's no limitation on it. However, if you're willing to suggest it, I would advise you to visit http://feedback.cloudways.com/ and raise your voice.
lesley Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Why can Cloudways just not have the latest version like every other host?
fay_php Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 @lesley I would advise you to share your words via proper channel. You will get every possible answer there.
lesley Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I have, I figured you were working from them since you signed up to advertise for them.
fay_php Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 @lesley I came here not to advertise only and ran away. I am willing to see how can we grow this community further and how Cloudways can make a good impact on Thirty Bees.
lesley Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 By providing the latest versions, not a 6 month old version, that is a good start. 1
alwayspaws Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 @fay_php The “extra” features for current customers is not that impressive.

I am willing to see how can we grow this community further and how Cloudways can make a good impact on Thirty Bees. In addition to what @lesley said, I don’t believe you should suggest that our global moderators and “owners” ( loosely phrased since this is open source) of our community be referred to your site to ask for compatible updates. Aren’t you a partner? Therefore, you should do what is best for us and not send us back to your site to request the latest versions of your hosting features. The point of this reply is that you will be making money from people who sign up for your hosting, while what our global moderators are doing is basically working very hard, for free. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.
